LGV 2 Dustcart Driver / Loader 

We have a fantastic opportunity for an LGV 2 Dustcart Driver / Loader to join our growing waste recycling division based in Attleborough, Norfolk.

Our ideal candidate will have experience in waste, driving and loading bins onto a dustcart.

About the role:

This is an excellent opportunity to join our growing division within the waste industry

Our ideal driver will possess the following skills and experience:

• Valid LGV Class 2 licence – held for at least 6 months with demonstrable experience
• Valid Driver Qualification Card (DQC) / Digital Tachograph Card
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Knowledge of UK roads
• Flexible approach to work
• Team player

Duties include but will not be limited to the following:

• LGV 2 dustcart driving dealing with Food Waste
• LGV 2 dustcart driving dealing with General Waste
• Dealing with trade dustcart collections
• Loading and unloading bins on set routes
• Completing daily checks as per our Drivers Handbook
• Ensuring all paperwork for routes are completed
• Maintaining vehicles (ensuring COVID clean and safe condition)

What to expect:

• Monday to Friday – occasional weekend working may be required
• Average 47.5 hours per week
• Working hours between 5 am – 5 pm (Monday-Friday) (flexible approach)
