HGV Driver – Scaffolding

We are currently recruiting for an HGV driver to work within our Scaffolding division.

Work involves Class 2 HGV deliveries within our scaffolding division, delivering to sites across the local area and around the UK. In addition to this, you will be required to provide physical labour, helping to load and unload vehicles.

Role Responsibilities:

• Operating commercial vehicles, including rigid trucks, transporters and trailer wagons
• Driving long or short distances to deliver and collect scaffold equipment
• Planning delivery schedules and routes with transport & scaffolding managers.
• Helping to load and unload vehicles

Skills/Behaviours:

• Have a positive attitude and a great work ethic
• HGV Class 2 licence (Essential)
• CSCS or CISRS card (Essential)
• Forklift licence (Desirable)
• Keep vehicle clean and to a good standard
• Reliable and ability to get on with others, with excellent verbal skills
• Co-ordination and planning skills – excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload
• Team player able to get involved with all elements of Anglian
• Ability to always follow Anglian’s company policies and procedures
