Making a massive impact at the two-day event, Anglian wowed visitors with a construction that showcased why we’re the experts in scaffolding for East Anglia.
Each year, the Royal Norfolk Show is a spectacle of rural and local life, with hundreds of local businesses displaying their goods and services to the tens of thousands of people who visit. At Anglian we wanted to do something creative, and what better way to show visitors that you’re the best scaffolding supplier in East Anglia than to build a 10m tower of it!
Standing out from the crowd
A lot of planning went into our Stand 188 on Avenue 14, where we set up camp for the show. This was our base for the two-day show, where the team met the public and chatted all things Anglian as well as discussing the services we offer. It was also great to catch up with clients, suppliers and business contacts. In the backdrop of our pitch, standing proudly, was our enormous scaffold construction, which gave spectacular views across the whole of the Royal Norfolk Show. Over the course of the two days, we had over 6,000 guests make the trip to the top of the tower to see the show from new heights.
The whole construction took four men a total of three days to erect, but the hard work was completely worth it just to see the astonished faces of the public on approach! The tower really showcased what our team at Anglian are capable of and the impact we can have.
Eco waste supplier for the event
Anglian were the eco waste supplier for this year’s Royal Norfolk Show and it was a joy to see our branded bins across the entire site. Looking after the waste across the two days of the event was an incredible task and we can’t wait to share with you the report on how much we have recycled – which we are currently compiling – in due course.
Something new
At the show we also had a great platform to showcase some of our new liveried vehicles. The sun was shining, the cabs were sparkling and they were a fantastic fit for our little branded corner of the Royal Norfolk Show.
