Anglian staff are taking the ultimate leap this summer to raise funds for a Wymondham-based cancer charity.
Ten team members from across the business will sky dive from 13,000 ft to raise funds for Star Throwers – a local charity dedicated to supporting people affected by cancer.
“As a local business, we’re passionate about giving back to our community and making a positive local impact. We were looking for a fundraising challenge and this is definitely going to push us to our limit.
“I am so proud of our fearless Anglian team for embracing this opportunity. Our brave bunch will soar to new heights for a brilliant local cause as they complete this once-in-a-lifetime jump. We can’t wait to get up in the skies and out of that plane, all in the name of charity!”
Toni Storer, director at Anglian – and captain of the sky dive team
This adrenaline-filled event is planned for 29th June at Beccles Airfield and run by UK Parachuting. To show your support for the Anglian team, donate via their JustGiving page.
“We are incredibly grateful to the team from Anglian Demolition for taking on a tandem skydive challenge for Star Throwers. Star Throwers provides information and support for those affected by cancer at our centre in Wymondham. Funds raised from this exciting challenge will help us support even more people affected by this disease.”
Victoria Pigg, operations and fundraising manager at Star Throwers
Good luck Team Anglian! We’ll follow up this story once our brave staff have their feet firmly back on the ground.
